What you will be doing.
- Conduct field visits and collect relevant data from identified locations.
- Engage with local stakeholders and sources to gather insights.
- Verify and validate information collected from secondary research.
- Maintain structured records of field observations and interactions.
- Identify local trends and provide actionable inputs.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports and summaries.
The profile that fits this mandate.
- 2+ years of experience in field research, primary data collection or field verification work.
- Comfortable travelling to identified locations and working independently on the ground.
- Confident engaging local stakeholders and sources to draw out useful information.
- Ability to cross-check field findings against secondary research and flag discrepancies.
- Methodical about record-keeping, with clear structured notes on observations and interactions.
- An eye for local trends, and the judgement to turn them into actionable inputs.
- Good written communication, with the ability to contribute to research reports and summaries.
- Familiarity with the local geography and languages of the assigned city.
